Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive Voltron strategy centered on Bruenor Battlehammer. Bruenor serves as both a power amplifier and a mana engine by granting +2/+0 for each attached Equipment and waiving the equip cost on the first attachment each turn. This allows the deck to bypass cumbersome equip costs on devastating artifacts like Colossus Hammer and Argentum Armor. The deck curves out through early mana rocks and cheap Equipment, lands Bruenor on Turn 4, and threatens massive single-target combat damage by Turn 5. Redundant legendary creatures such as Wyleth, Soul of Steel, Reyav, Master Smith, and Danitha, Benalia's Hope provide secondary offensive hosts and draw support. While the deck possesses explosive single-target combat damage and robust instant-speed shielding, its reliance on linear combat steps gives the full table multiple turns to find answers.
