Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Equipment and Voltron strategy commanded by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Equipment, Living Weapons, and mana acceleration during the early turns to rapidly discount Nahiri through Affinity for Equipment. Once Nahiri enters the battlefield on Turn 4, every equipped attacking creature triggers her ability to exile cards from the library and cast revealed Equipment without paying mana costs. The deck features all ten 'Sword of X and Y' artifacts alongside high-impact cards like Kaldra Compleat, Nettlecyst, and Hammer of Nazahn. Evasion, double strike, and extra combat phases from cards like Akki Battle Squad and Hexplate Wallbreaker allow the deck to eliminate opponents across consecutive combat steps by Turn 7. While the deck possesses comprehensive protection against targeted removal, it runs no instant-speed removal spells and remains vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers.
