Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan toughness-matters combat engine commanded by Felothar the Steadfast. It turns low-cost, high-toughness defenders into aggressive beaters that deal lethal combat damage equal to their toughness. Early turns focus on accelerating mana and establishing a resilient board with creatures like Overgrown Battlement, Wall of Blossoms, and Indomitable Ancients. Once Felothar the Steadfast or Assault Formation hits the battlefield, defensive walls convert into substantial attackers. The deck leverages one-sided board wipes like Slaughter the Strong and The Battle of Bywater to decimate opposing boards while leaving 0-power defenders completely unscathed. Card advantage is sustained through Felothar's activated ability, which draws massive hands by sacrificing 0-power creatures without requiring any discards. Game-ending damage is pushed across Turns 5 to 7 via evasion enablers like Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa and explosive combat pumps such as Tower Defense and Bar the Door.
