Sauron, el Ñablo by l0st.m00nk1d

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis Sauron build is a midrange value deck that turns Ring tempts and opponent spells into an amassed Orc Army while using Sauron's discard-and-draw to fill the graveyard for reanimation. The primary plan is to ramp into Sauron, trigger the Ring with Call of the Ring and Nazgul, then use Buried Alive plus Reanimate or Living Death to reanimate Archon of Cruelty, Sepulchral Primordial, or Sauron, Lord of the Rings. Secondary lines include a Syr Konrad plus Living Death drain and an Orcish Bowmasters plus Peer into the Abyss one-shot. The deck is resilient in the midgame but relies on its commander for card advantage and needs a stocked graveyard to finish.
