Deck overview

This Golgari deck leverages lands entering the graveyard to power up its commander, Uurg, Spawn of Turg, alongside massive scaling creatures like Centaur Vinecrasher, Terravore, and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. Early turns prioritize mana ramp, self-mill, and land sacrifice via cards like Harrow, Life from the Loam, and Satyr Wayfinder. By Turn 5, the deck establishes an active land recursion engine through planeswalkers such as Wrenn and Seven and creatures like Ramunap Excavator. The critical onset arrives around Turn 6 with explosive payoff spells like Scapeshift or Titania, Protector of Argoth, creating a lethal board of 5/3 Elemental tokens or huge trampling beaters supported by Brawn. While the deck features outstanding permanent removal and rapid graveyard-based recovery, it lacks stack interaction and instant-speed board protection, requiring two attack cycles to eliminate all three opponents by Turn 8.
