Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard-centric aristocrats combo deck commanded by Teval, the Balanced Scale. The deck focuses on accelerating its mana on Turns 1 and 2, leveraging efficient self-mill, discard, and land recursion to establish extensive graveyard access. On Turns 3 and 4, it deploys powerful tutors such as Buried Alive and Entomb to place its core combo pieces—Gravecrawler, Warren Soultrader, and Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat—directly into the graveyard. By resolving a reanimation spell such as Victimize or Lively Dirge, the deck initiates an infinite loop of sacrificing Gravecrawler for Treasure and draining opponents for lethal damage on the spot. The deck features robust plan shielding via Veil of Summer, Sylvan Safekeeper, and low-cost countermagic, alongside resilient backup lines utilizing Shifting Woodland, Six, Muldrotha, the Gravetide, and Finale of Devastation to secure victory through disruption.
