Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Golgari big-mana stompy strategy centered on Belbe, Corrupted Observer. By deploying one-mana creatures that drain all opponents on attack—such as Pulse Tracker, Thornbow Archer, and Vicious Conquistador—the deck consistently triggers Belbe on Turn 2 to produce six colorless mana in the postcombat main phase. This massive tempo burst enables Turn 2 power plays, including God-Pharaoh's Statue to lock down opponents' mana, Coveted Jewel to refill the hand, or Chimil, the Inner Sun to secure uncounterable spellcasting. The deck quickly escalates into game-ending Eldrazi and high-impact artifacts like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Sire of Seven Deaths, and Portal to Phyrexia. Opponents face insurmountable resource attrition from annihilator triggers, edicts, and tax effects while enormous creatures close out the game through combat damage by Turn 6. High redundancy of early enablers and heavy payoffs ensures reliable execution, backed by resilient card draw and broad removal.
