Deck overview

This list is an optimized competitive Commander (cEDH) build commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Urza operates both as an enormous mana engine by turning all noncreature artifacts into blue-producing mana rocks and as an infinite mana outlet from the command zone. The deck features fast mana staples including Mishra's Workshop, Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, and Mana Vault to deploy Urza and lock pieces ahead of schedule. Its primary win condition is assembling infinite mana through Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal or Basalt Monolith with Forsaken Monument. Infinite mana allows Urza to exile the library or Sensei's Divining Top to draw it, culminating in lethal damage via Walking Ballista. Defensively, Urza breaks parity on brutal stax pieces like Winter Orb and Static Orb by tapping them prior to his untap step, fully depriving opponents of resources.
