Deck overview

This five-colour "goodstuff" deck is helmed by Niv-Mizzet Reborn, whose ETB refills your hand with up to ten multicoloured cards - one per colour pair. The companion Jegantha, the Wellspring enforces a strict no-double-pip constraint, which the list satisfies elegantly. The primary game plan is to cast Niv-Mizzet as quickly as possible, use the massive card advantage to deploy multicolour threats (dragons, value creatures, flexible instant-speed answers), and eventually close the game either through overwhelming combat - often with Atarka, World Render granting double strike to attacking dragons - or by assembling ten different Gates with Maze's End for a slow but resilient alternate win. The deck leans on a dense suite of two-colour interaction and a robust land-tutor subtheme (Knight of the Reliquary, Safewright Quest) to find the needed colours and Gates. It is a grindy, value-oriented strategy that rewards patience and careful sequencing.
