Format: Commander

Commander: Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Silas Renn, Seeker Adept

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Rograkh + Silas Renn is a Grixis turbo-Ad Nauseam deck. The primary plan is to resolve Ad Nauseam or Necropotence, draw a large portion of the deck, then empty the library with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact and win with Thassa's Oracle. A secondary Underworld Breach loop with Lion's Eye Diamond and Brain Freeze mills all opponents out. Rograkh's main role is as a free commander that unlocks Mox Amber, Flare of Duplication, and zero-cost countermagic; Silas Renn offers artifact recursion but is rarely the engine. There is no hidden commander. The 1.76 average mana value and dense tutor/ritual suite give realistic turn-two kills, while free counterspells protect the kill.
