Walls by user9941377

Format: Commander

Commander: Arcades, the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Arcades is both engine and payoff: every defender ETB draws a card, and defenders attack with toughness instead of power. The deck floods the board with cheap walls, converts their toughness into damage through Arcades plus redundant effects (Assault Formation, High Alert, Huatli), and closes with a wide alpha strike protected by Akroma's Will. A secondary combo uses Axebane Guardian + High Alert + Coral Colony to generate infinite mana and mill each opponent. Huatli and High Alert act as hidden backup commanders, letting the strategy function if Arcades is removed. The plan is linear but resilient because the walls themselves draw cards and can block while assembling.
