Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Enchantress strategy helmed by Killian, Decisive Mentor, blending political combat manipulation, pillowfort defense, and Voltron beatdown. The deck uses low-cost Auras and Impetus curses to constantly tap down and goad high-threat opposing creatures. By forcing opponents to attack each other, Killian triggers repeated card draw while keeping incoming damage at bay. Defensive staples like Ghostly Prison, Nils, Discipline Enforcer, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple ensure that opponents cannot turn their remaining forces toward you. As life totals dwindle from forced infighting, the deck transitions into a decisive closing phase by deploying explosive finishers such as Eldrazi Conscription, Archon of Sun's Grace, or Fallen Ideal, supported by asymmetric wipes like Winds of Rath and Promise of Loyalty. It produces a resilient, highly interactive game plan that thrives on turning opponents' resources against one another.
