Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Grixis Polymorph and cheat strategy led by Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Silas Renn, Seeker Adept. Rograkh sits in the command zone as a zero-mana creature, guaranteeing instant fodder for polymorph effects without consuming mana or cards from hand. The primary game plan accelerates into a 4-mana cheat spell like Polymorph, Transmogrify, or Reality Scramble on Turn 3. Resolving this spell immediately puts one of several game-warping bombs onto the battlefield, including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur to strip opponents' hands, Hullbreaker Horror to dominate the stack and board, or Blightsteel Colossus to deliver swift lethal infect damage. A dense package of 1-mana tutors and rituals provides exceptional consistency, while 24 interactive spells and free protection like Deflecting Swat shield the critical assembly turn. If the initial threat is disrupted, secondary reanimation lines via Reanimate and Animate Dead ensure rapid engine recovery.
