Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos Spellslinger Burn strategy commanded by Black Waltz No. 3. The core game plan revolves around deploying cheap pinger permanents that punish opponents whenever noncreature spells are cast. Backed by an extensive suite of low-cost removal, rituals, and damage doublers, the deck chips away at the entire table's life totals simultaneously. Acceleration from Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and low-mana mana rocks lets the deck establish its engine on Turn 4 and unleash high-damage bursts by Turn 6. An efficient removal package keeps opposing aggressive threats in check while advancing the deck's own trigger count. Although the deck is susceptible to board wipes and lacks robust card draw to refuel depleted hands, high functional redundancy among its burn engines ensures steady pressure and quick recovery. An alternate infinite combo with Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame offers a compact one-turn knockout when assembled.
