Deck overview

This Bant deck pairs a +1/+1 counter engine with top-deck card advantage led by Falco Spara, Pactweaver. The deck develops fast mana dorks and low-cost counter generators during the opening turns. Once Falco enters the battlefield with a shield counter, it removes counters from creatures to cast spells directly from the top of the library. This turns board development into continuous card flow without expending cards in hand. Redundant top-deck enablers like Augur of Autumn and The Reality Chip maintain momentum if the commander is removed. The deck scales its battlefield with broad stat doublers and anthems such as Brokers Ascendancy and Cathars' Crusade. It closes games by converting massive creature power into unblockable combat damage with Herald of Secret Streams or Champion of Lambholt, or by deploying asymmetric board resets like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict. It also holds an infinite mana combo via Incubation Druid and Vigean Graftmage.
