Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan creature-centric strategy led by Olag and Miau, New Friends, uniting Cat and Zombie kindred synergies. The primary game plan curves low-cost Cats and Zombies into the commander to distribute +1/+1 counters across both tribes whenever new creatures enter the battlefield. As tokens and attackers multiply, the deck pressures opponents through direct combat and compounds the damage each turn with the commander's end-step life-drain trigger for every tapped Cat and Zombie. Supporting engines like Cathars' Crusade, Felidar Retreat, and Arahbo, the First Fang expand board presence rapidly, while Corpse Knight and Wayward Servant apply continuous direct life loss. An incidental infinite loop between Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar provides combo potential, but the deck's standard path to victory relies on wide board scaling and resilient mid-game attrition.
