Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius control and spellslinger strategy commanded by Taigam, Ojutai Master. It focuses on stalling the table using efficient pillowfort enchantments such as Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Sphere of Safety, while constricting opposing game actions with Rule of Law and Blind Obedience. Taigam, Ojutai Master grants uncounterability to instants and sorceries and doubles their value through rebound once it attacks. The deck converts recurring spell casts into evasive armies using token creators like Talrand, Sky Summoner, Murmuring Mystic, and Shark Typhoon. Alternatively, it closes games through an inevitable win condition in Approach of the Second Sun or asymmetric spell suppression via Dovescape. While it lacks heavy tutoring, dense card draw and redundant defensive pieces provide steady mid-game control.
