Deck overview

This Naya Equipment/Voltron deck is built to exploit Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER's unique combination of haste, conditional card draw, and treasure generation. The core plan is to accelerate to a swift deployment of Cloud, suit him up with powerful equipment like Hero's Blade or Buster Sword, and then use his attack triggers to snowball into overwhelming card advantage and mana. The secondary commander Cloud, Midgar Mercenary in the 99 acts as a repeatable tutor for the exact Equipment needed, further smoothing the game plan. The deck wins primarily through commander damage from an increasingly massive Cloud, supported by other large threats like Sephiroth, Fallen Hero and Hellkite Tyrant's alternate artifact-win condition. While the deck lacks compact combos, its dense equipment suite and consistent draw engines provide a steady path to outvalue opponents in combat.
