Format: Commander

Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait is the deck's engine and face commander; with Aesi out, each land drop draws a card and enables an extra land drop, quickly out-valuing opponents. The primary win is landfall-driven beatdown: build a huge board with Rampaging Baloths, Koma, or Hydra Omnivore, then finish with Overwhelming Stampede. Secondary wins are a compact infinite-mana loop with Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy + Basalt Monolith + Walking Ballista, and a Biovisionary + kicked Rite of Replication end-step kill. No double-faced commander exists; the deck is not secretly built on another commander, though Kinnan acts as an important off-command engine.
