Deck overview

This mono-black deck combines aristocrats drain, stax-adjacent attrition, and explosive big mana with a compact A+B infinite combo finish. Helmed by Gollum, Riddle Master, the deck generates early card advantage and life swings while establishing resource engines like Black Market Connections, Crypt Ghast, and The One Ring. The primary strategy focuses on assembling a two-card infinite life-drain loop using Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Enduring Tenacity. As soon as any life is gained or lost, the loop drains the entire table to zero in a single turn. As a backup plan, the deck generates massive mana with Cabal Coffers and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx to cast game-ending copies of Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate. Passive tax pieces like Oppression and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse systematically deplete opponent resources while the deck builds toward its decisive win.
