Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. The primary game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration to deploy Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell triggers Miirym to create a nonlegendary token copy, doubling threats and enter-the-battlefield triggers. Payoffs like Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas weaponize these entries into decisive direct damage, while Atarka, World Render and Utvara Hellkite quickly build lethal combat boards. The list backs up its proactive aggression with premium countermagic, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Heroic Intervention, ensuring vital setup windows remain protected. As an alternate win condition, Savage Ventmaw pairs with Aggravated Assault to produce infinite combat phases and close games immediately.
