Deck overview

This Sultai deck pairs Thranduil, the Elvenking with an explosive Elf tribal and +1/+1 counter engine. The primary game plan accelerates mana via low-cost Elf mana dorks and quickly establishes compact creature-based win conditions. Its main route executes an infinite loop between Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak, generating an arbitrarily large army of Squirrel tokens and an immense attacker on Turn 4 to overrun the table on Turn 5. Alternatively, the deck generates infinite colored mana using Incubation Druid enchanted by Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura to eliminate opponents immediately with Walking Ballista. Thranduil acts as a value multiplier, drawing and filtering cards whenever legendary Elves enter while inheriting the activated abilities of fallen Elves directly from the graveyard. Creature tutors like Chord of Calling and Lively Dirge provide strong assembly consistency, while a suite of blue counterspells defends pivotal turns against opposing disruption.
