Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger strategy piloted by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi acts as both a win condition and a mana ritual: every noncreature spell cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi, deals 1 damage to each opponent, and increases the mana yielded by its once-per-turn {0} activation. The game plan focuses on deploying Vivi on Turn 3, followed by an explosive storm turn on Turn 4 or 5 utilizing pump spells like Infuriate and Bulk Up to generate massive mana bursts. Redundant pingers such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Firebrand Archer amplify spell damage across the table. In addition to burn attrition, the deck packs an infinite combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity to draw the library and ping opponents to zero. Defensive interaction like Force of Will and Cyclonic Rift protects the board while the deck accelerates toward a Turn 6 table elimination.
