Sauron/Nazgul by user9551282

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Built around Sauron, the Dark Lord, this Grixis list is a midrange value engine. It uses ring tempt triggers to discard and draw four, fueling both a growing Orc Army and a graveyard-reanimation package. Secondary plans are a Wraith swarm with Lord of the Nazgul and the nine Nazgul, and a burst finish from Terror of the Peaks with Devastating Onslaught. Saruman, the White Hand acts as a hidden commander, turning every noncreature spell into an amass trigger. Sauron himself mostly supplies card advantage and an evasive beater; the actual wins come from hasted armies, reanimated bombs, or the Terror/Onslaught combination.
