Tidus Poison Counters by user7191678

Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Bant counters deck uses Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to move counters and turn combat damage from counter creatures into cards and proliferate triggers. It wins by establishing an early infect or toxic threat such as Blighted Agent or Inkmoth Nexus, then chaining proliferate from Bloated Contaminator, Evolution Sage, Inexorable Tide and Tekuthal to push poison from 1 to 10 without needing ten combat hits. Counter doublers Hardened Scales, The Earth Crystal and Innkeeper's Talent accelerate both +1/+1 and poison clocks. Secondary closes are Triumph of the Hordes for an infect alpha and a Walking Ballista loop with the doublers and Gatta and Luzzu. Tidus is the draw engine, not the combo piece.
