Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Aristocrats and +1/+1 counter synergy engine commanded by Marchesa, the Black Rose. Marchesa returns any creature that dies with a +1/+1 counter to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step. By pairing this recursion with free sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Viscera Seer, the deck repeatedly triggers enter-the-battlefield and death abilities across every player's turn. Cards like Plaguecrafter and Grave Pact dismantle opposing creature boards, while River Kelpie, Satoru, the Infiltrator, and Midnight Reaper provide massive card draw. The deck finishes games through drain effects from Zulaport Cutthroat and Impact Tremors, direct burn from Flayer of the Hatebound, or lethal combat enabled by Herald of Secret Streams and Uncivil Unrest. Standalone threats and life manipulation ensure the deck maintains high resilience and steady pressure.
