Vishgraz, the Doomhive B3 by sbmcconnell

Format: Commander

Commander: Vishgraz, the Doomhive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a midrange Phyrexian poison/proliferate deck helmed by Vishgraz, the Doomhive. The primary plan is to deploy Vishgraz early for an immediate board of three Mite tokens, then overwhelm opponents with poison counters through combat damage from toxic/infect creatures and proliferate effects. The deck wins either by reaching lethal poison via cumulative toxic triggers or by overrunning the board with Craterhoof Behemoth or Triumph of the Hordes. A secondary plan uses flicker/blink effects (Teleportation Circle, Ephemerate, Eldrazi Displacer) to reuse Vishgraz's enter trigger and other value ETBs, while Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Parallel Lives double the token count. The deck lacks fast combos and relies on incremental, combat-oriented advantage.
