This deck is a Gruul face-down aggro strategy commanded by Yarus, Roar of the Old Gods. It leverages morph, disguise, cloak, and manifest dread mechanics to deploy deceptive 2/2 creatures ahead of curve. Yarus acts as both an accelerant and an insurance policy: granting haste to the team, refilling the hand when face-down creatures hit opponents, and returning dead face-down cards to play flipped face up. This death trigger turns conventional combat arithmetic upside down, as opponents blocking a 2/2 face-down card risk immediately facing a 6/6 Akroma, Angel of Fury or a 9/9 Krosan Colossus.
