Deck overview

This Sultai deck leverages Teval, the Balanced Scale to merge self-mill, landfall ramp, and aristocrat token generation into a resilient midrange engine. Early turns establish mana acceleration through low-cost creatures and land searches. By turn 4, Teval enters combat to mill resources into the graveyard and return lands to play, which triggers continuous Zombie token production. The deck converts these tokens and deep self-mill into decisive pressure around turn 5 through mass reanimation with Living Death, stax creatures like Toxrill, the Corrosive, or game-ending overruns with Craterhoof Behemoth and Wonder. It recovers smoothly from removal by utilizing alternate graveyard recursion engines such as Six and Meren of Clan Nel Toth.
