Deck overview

This Azorius deck turns card selection into lethal combat power. Led by Denzilore Fatehold, the deck leverages scry and surveil triggers to place +1/+1 counters on all friendly creatures. A dense package of low-cost filtering spells and continuous scry engines smooths out land drops and rapidly grows evasive threats. Evasion enablers like Thassa, God of the Sea and game-ending spells like Akroma's Will help translate counters into full table knockouts. The list also includes asymmetric sweepers such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye, which clear opposing boards while keeping your modified creatures intact. When primary combat routes stall, secondary plans like Approach of the Second Sun and Knowledge Is Power provide reliable alternative paths to victory. Supported by elite defensive spells like Teferi's Protection, the deck provides consistent mid-game pressure and high resilience.
