Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue aggro-control strategy centered on Thada Adel, Acquisitor. The primary plan uses cheap land-altering spells like Aquitect's Will and Spreading Seas to give opponents Islands, ensuring Thada attacks unblocked via Islandwalk. Each combat connection exiles and casts key artifacts from opposing libraries, accelerating your mana base and depriving opponents of resources. The deck converts this stolen advantage into a win using artifact synergy finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener, Mechanized Production, or an extra-turn swarm from Notorious Throng. A robust suite of counterspells and instant-speed bounce protects the board and disrupts opposing combos. If Thada is neutralized, backup engines like Urza, Lord High Artificer and artifact cloning permanents maintain pressure.
