Birgi, God of Storytelling by Sereus

Format: Commander

Commander: Birgi, God of Storytelling // Harnfel, Horn of Bounty

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This deck is a high-octane Mono-Red Storm and Combo engine helmed by Birgi, God of Storytelling. The primary strategy leverages Birgi s front face to generate infinite or near-infinite red mana through low-cost spells and rituals, or her back face, Harnfel, Horn of Bounty, to dig aggressively for win conditions. The deck features multiple compact win-lines, including the Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Zealous Conscripts and Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame creature combos, alongside traditional Storm finishers like Grapeshot and Aetherflux Reservoir. It utilizes a heavy fast-mana package to accelerate into a mid-game "storm-off" or a hard stax lock via Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice. Birgi is the quintessential engine, turning every cheap cantrip or ritual into a mana-positive or neutral action, allowing the deck to churn through its library with frightening velocity.
