Deck overview

This deck is a battlecruiser-style Dragon Tribal stompy build commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's Eminence ability to discount heavy Dragon threats right from the start of the game. The early turns focus on establishing mana fixing, ramp, cost reducers, and haste or card-draw enablers such as Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising. By Turn 4, the deck deploys foundational engines like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm or Lathliss, Dragon Queen. It reaches a critical must-answer state on Turn 6 by resolving devastating combat enablers like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, or Hellkite Courser. Once assembled, the deck delivers massive flying combat damage combined with direct burn from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas, closing the game out around Turn 7. While it has limited stack interaction and is vulnerable to mass board wipes, its threat density ensures resilient recovery.
