Volo by TastyBurgr

Format: Commander

Commander: Volo, Guide to Monsters

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Volo, Guide to Monsters leads a Simic creature-token engine that turns every unique creature type into doubled value. The deck ramps early, plays a diverse creature suite, and converts copied enters triggers into tokens, card draw, and mana. Secondary paths use token multiplication with Second Harvest, Esix, Fractal Bloom, and Octomancer to build an overwhelming board, then finish with Craterhoof Behemoth, Pathbreaker Ibex, or God-Eternal Rhonas. Volo, Itinerant Scholar serves as a hidden commander, providing card advantage and a Journal token that rewards casting diverse creature types. The deck is a midrange value engine that wins through combat rather than combo.
