Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros midrange strategy centered on Quintorius, History Chaser. It leverages discard outlets, flashback spells, and graveyard recursion to trigger Quintorius's ability, creating a continuous stream of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. Early turns establish mana acceleration and discard-into-exile enablers like Containment Construct and Conspiracy Theorist. Once Quintorius enters on turn 4, its +1 ability fuels both card flow and graveyard filling, quickly building a formidable board state. The deck transitions into the midgame with anthem effects and planeswalker loyalty growth, culminating in a lethal turn 6 onset where Quintorius's -4 ability grants double strike and vigilance to overwhelm opponents. With resilient recursion from creatures like Sun Titan and Excava, the Risen Past, paired with wipe protection from Guardian of Faith and Deification, the deck maintains steady pressure through incremental value and wide combat steps to secure victory by turn 8.
