Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu aggro-cheat build helmed by Kaalia of the Vast. The primary strategy focuses on deploying a mana rock on Turn 2, casting Kaalia of the Vast on Turn 3 or 4, and immediately attacking to cheat towering Angels and Demons into combat tapped and attacking. Payoffs such as Rune-Scarred Demon, Archfiend of Depravity, Sanctuary Warden, and Sower of Discord rapidly establish an overwhelming aerial board presence while generating incremental value and clearing opposing blockers. In addition to raw combat attrition, the deck includes a two-card infinite combat loop using Aurelia, the Warleader and The Neutrinos, which flickers Aurelia upon attacking to reset her attack trigger across consecutive combat phases. Supported by efficient Mardu spot removal, protection spells like Boros Charm and Restoration Magic, and reanimation backup, the deck presents a fast, high-impact clock that punishes unprepared tables through overwhelming flying damage.
