Deck overview

This deck is a focused Jeskai kindred aggro strategy centered on Captain America, Team Leader. The commander turns every subsequent Hero spell into an immediate, agile threat by granting vigilance, haste, and +1/+1 counters upon entry. This enables the deck to curve out aggressively without losing defensive presence, using high creature density and tribal cost reducers like Herald's Horn and Director Nick Fury to flood the battlefield. Midgame turns leverage modified-creature payoffs such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal and Iron Man, Armored Avenger to grant double strike and evasion across the team. Card draw engines like Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, Folk Hero, and Reconnaissance Mission maintain velocity through attack steps and spell casts. Asymmetric interaction such as Raise the Palisade clears opposing boards while leaving the Hero team intact to deliver lethal combat damage.
