Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron and Midrange strategy centered on the partner pair Pako, Arcane Retriever and Haldan, Avid Arcanist. The primary plan accelerates mana during the opening turns using efficient ramp and elemental dorks like Smokebraider to cast Pako on Turn 3 or 4. Because Pako has haste, it attacks immediately, exiling four cards per swing and accumulating +1/+1 counters for every noncreature revealed. Haldan, Avid Arcanist converts those exiled cards into a massive card advantage engine, providing extra land drops and playable spells from all four libraries. The deck defends Pako with a dense suite of one- and two-mana protection spells granting hexproof and indestructible, while using pump spells like Temur Battle Rage and Choose Your Weapon to eliminate opponents through lethal commander damage by Turn 7. Asymmetric sweepers keep opposing boards clear while Pako dominates combat.
