Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal and discard-synergy strategy commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The deck leverages early ramp and low-cost Villains to establish a presence before deploying Doctor Doom on Turn 4. Beginning of combat triggers allow your Villains to connive each turn, filtering cards, growing attacking threats with +1/+1 counters, and draining each opponent for 2 life whenever land cards are discarded. Value engines like Leader, Super-Genius, Currency Converter, and Black Market Connections generate recurring card velocity and token fodder. The mid game transitions into wide, evasive combat assaults powered by The Squadron Sinister, Titania, Proud Pummeler, Madame Hydra, and Cover of Darkness. Supported by flexible removal spells and creature-shrinking effects like Archfiend of Ifnir, the deck steadily whittles down opposing life totals and closes games on Turn 8 through overwhelming combat damage and burn.
