Deck overview

This Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow deck is a high-tempo Dimir aggro-burn strategy built around Commander ninjutsu and topdeck manipulation. The game plan starts on Turn 1 by deploying cheap, unblockable creatures like Changeling Outcast, Mist-Cloaked Herald, and Ornithopter. On Turn 2, the deck activates Yuriko's ninjutsu for {U}{B}, putting her onto the battlefield tapped and attacking while bypassing commander tax and standard counterspells. Each combat damage trigger reveals the top card of the library, putting it into hand and dealing its mana value in unpreventable life loss to every opponent. High-mana spells such as Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Rise of the Eldrazi serve as massive burn payloads when stacked using Brainstorm, Lim-Dûl's Vault, and Sensei's Divining Top. Supported by hyper-efficient disruption like Force of Negation, Deadly Rollick, and Mana Drain, the deck rapidly eliminates all three opponents by Turn 5 while continually refilling its hand.
