Deck overview

This is a Rakdos artifact-treasure midrange deck helmed by Smaug, Wicked Worm. The plan leverages sacrifice outlets, Treasure tokens, and artifact creatures to convert material into card advantage, drain, and combat pressure. Smaug, Wicked Worm is the primary engine: his ETB mints Treasures off opponents' artifacts, and every spell paid with Treasure mana draws a card (at 1 life). The 99 supports this with dense Treasure makers (Pitiless Plunderer, Black Market Connections, The Reaver Cleaver), sacrifice-draw (Deadly Dispute, Reckoner's Bargain), and artifact payoffs (Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, Weapons Manufacturing, Virulent Silencer). Wins come from attrition combat, life-drain loops (The Meathook Massacre, Susurian Voidborn, The Sackville-Bagginses), and occasional poison via Virulent Silencer-not infinite combos. The deck is grindy value rather than explosive combo.
