Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo and burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan deploys cheap, evasive creatures on Turn 1 to enable Yuriko's commander ninjutsu on Turn 2. Whenever Yuriko or other Ninjas deal combat damage to a player, their triggers reveal the top card of your library, putting it into your hand and causing each opponent to lose life equal to its mana value. The deck uses topdeck manipulation like Brainstorm and Spy Network to place high-mana-value spells like Draco and Commit // Memory on top of the library, delivering massive bursts of unblockable burn to the entire table. Supported by countermagic, bounce spells, and asymmetric taxes like Mana Breach, the deck maintains steady card advantage while completely ignoring commander tax penalties.
