Deck overview

This is a focused, combo-centric deck built around the duo of Kuja, Genome Sorcerer (front face) and Trance Kuja, Fate Defied (back face). The core plan is to deploy cheap noncreature spells-rituals, cantrips, and control pieces-to generate wizard tokens that ping each opponent. Once those triggers accumulate, the commander flips to Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, whose "Flare Star" static ability doubles all damage from wizards you control, turning every token trigger into a potent reach line. The deck also tucks a dense suite of combo loops (particularly Dualcaster Mage+Flare of Duplication or Reiterate+a ritual) and Final Fortune for extra turns, enabling same-turn kills even without the commander on the table. Secondary win conditions include Solphin, Mayhem Dominus and City on Fire for triple damage, alongside Coruscation Mage and Ashling, Flame Dancer to convert spells into direct damage. The overall synergy is tight, with mana rituals that pair with Birgir, God of Storytelling and The Vision and Scarlet witch to float multiple red mana across phases.
