Commander: Marath, Will of the Wild

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a blisteringly fast Naya combo build commanded by Marath, Will of the Wild, hewn from a dense suite of 0-2 mana ramp, premium tutors, and compact infinite-mana engines. The primary game plan is to deploy one of several two-card mana loops (most commonly Devoted Druid plus an untap enabler like Cacophodon or Cryptic Trilobite), convert that into infinite green mana, then use Marath's activated abilities to either burn all opponents to death, create an infinite army of Elemental tokens, or pile infinite +1/+1 counters onto a creature for a single attack. The deck's extraordinarily low curve (1.85 average MV) and glut of fast mana (Lion's Eye Diamond, Mox Diamond, Chrome Mox, Mana Vault, Lotus Petal) allow it to threaten wins as early as turn 3, while a robust protection package - Silence, Voice of Victory, Jennifer Walters // The Sensational She-Hulk, Allosaurus Shepherd, Delighted Halfling, Veil of Summer - shields the combo turn. Secondary combat wins via Finale of Devastation-boosted beats or a transformed Zilortha, Apex of Ikoria are available but rarely needed.
