Gonti by mtg123

Format: Commander

Commander: Gonti, Canny Acquisitor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai deck wins by connecting with evasive creatures and converting combat damage into stolen spells. Gonti, Canny Acquisitor is the central engine: it makes spells you don't own cost one less and exiles the top card of each opponent you hit, letting you cast those cards with any mana. Secondary engines like Thief of Sanity, Brainstealer Dragon, Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Hostage Taker and Dauthi Voidwalker provide the same theft without the commander. Ramp from Llanowar Elves, Birds of Paradise, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach and extra-land effects powers out the five-mana commander. No single hidden commander exists; Doc Aurlock and Savvy Trader only discount exile casts.
