Deck overview

Vilis, Broker of Blood leads a mono-black life-payment deck built to turn lost life into a massive card-draw engine. The primary plan is to accelerate into Vilis, then use life-to-draw effects like Greed, Erebos, and Arguel's Blood Fast to fill the hand while Vilis converts each life payment into additional cards. Finishers include Psychosis Crawler pinging off draws, Gray Merchant of Asphodel draining via devotion, and Exsanguinate for a large X. Secondary lines use life-total manipulation such as Repay in Kind and Magus of the Mirror to equalize, then finish with a drain effect or a large Horror token. K'rrik and Skirge Familiar provide mana acceleration. The deck is resilient in theory but heavily depends on Vilis surviving to generate its card advantage.
