Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk is a midrange Orzhov lifegain/drain deck. It wants to pad life with Soul Warden effects, Cleric Class, extort, and Ajani, while Liesa and stax pieces tax the table. The primary deterministic kill is a drain loop: Exquisite Blood paired with either Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond turns any life gain into infinite damage; Heliod, Sun-Crowned plus Walking Ballista is a second, mana-cheaper infinite. Without a combo, Ajani Goldmane's ultimate or Serra Avatar plus Rogue's Passage ends the game in three unblockable attacks. There is no hidden commander; Kytheon/Gideon is just early utility.
