Deck overview

This mono-red deck commands Avatar Roku, Firebender to convert aggressive attack declarations into massive surges of red mana and devastating fire-pump power. Utilizing dense artifact acceleration and ritual support, the list ramps directly into its 6-mana commander by Turn 5. Once Roku attacks, he injects six red mana into combat, fueling instant-speed power buffs, extra-combat steps, or lethal X-spell finishers. Mana-retention permanents like Leyline Tyrant, Ashling, Flame Dancer, and Electro, Assaulting Battery bridge this combat mana into main phases to enable continuous activations of Aggravated Assault. Supported by robust redirection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend, the deck defends its key permanents while overwhelming opponents through explosive combat phases and board-wide burn like Chandra's Ignition and Crackle with Power. Alternate lines like Dark Depths paired with Thespian's Stage provide strong independent pressure when commander access is contested.
