Format: Commander

Commander: Obeka, Brute Chronologist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Obeka, Brute Chronologist to keep creatures that would otherwise sacrifice or exile at the end step. You cheat large creatures into play with Sneak Attack, Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, Feldon of the Third Path, Whip of Erebos and encore/myriad effects, then end the turn with Obeka, Sundial of the Infinite or Discontinuity to keep the tokens permanently. Extra-turn spells like Final Fortune and Alchemist's Gambit become safe extra combats when you end the turn before the lose-the-game trigger. Secondary paths use Sedris unearth, Dawn of the Dead and graveyard theft (Sepulchral Primordial, Rakshasa Debaser) for value. Obeka is the engine; Sundial and Discontinuity are redundant keep effects.
