Deck overview

Helmed by Atraxa, Praetors' Voice, this is a Phyrexian proliferate deck that wins by stacking poison counters on all three opponents while deploying a suite of Praetors and compleated planeswalkers. Atraxa is the banner engine: her end-step proliferate compounds small early hits into a game-ending clock. The list intentionally includes heavy redundancy - Evolution Sage, Flux Channeler, Inexorable Tide, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus all add extra proliferation, while Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres turns those triggers into cards. Poison is seeded by spells like Prologue to Phyresis and Infectious Inquiry or by toxic/infect attackers such as Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa. Backup wins come from Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, the transform Praetor sagas, and the ultimate of Vraska, Betrayal's Sting.
